How to play

Guess the five-letter word. Type a real word and press Enter. The paper marks each letter: reversed (white on green) is right in the right place, ringed is in the word but somewhere else, struck is not in the word at all.
The case remembers. Letters you have already placed stay marked in the compositor's case below the grid, and a mark never gets worse than the best you have earned.
Run out and the edition goes to press. The word is printed either way, and nothing is held against you.
One word a day. Your board and your clock are saved, so you can put the paper down and pick it up later.
